I'm going to sell my PSP and I'm getting a bonus soon which will go towards buying a computer. I'm still deciding which to get but here's my choice right now: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/172711
If anyone can suggest any computer desktops to get please do so!
I'm not exactly that smart with computers, except with knowing how much space there is.
I don't want to spend over £500 either.

=) Any suggestions?

You could go for MC Lar's computer.

A Mac? I'm not ready for the change. Plus as awesome as MC Lars' computer may be, I want a NEW computer. XD

I'm going to get a laptop for school next year. I'm looking into HP's... I should proabaly do some more research.
I was thinking about Macs but like you, LewisSO I'm not ready for the change...plus they tend to be more expenseive!

Yes, a Mac would cost more. I like Desktops more than Laptops also. All the encounters I've had with Laptops were bad.

Yeah, I have a laptop, but it's mainly just used in class, because I prefer the overall layout/work-feel of a desktop.
Keyboard and screen at better angle (and bigger)
They're probably cheaper too.
(Admittedly, plugging in a regular mouse can help with some of the laptop issues. The funny thing is, I have one mouse for both - wireless, with a receiver that plugs into a USB port.)

Every Laptop I have used is slow and just bad. I can't stand them because of experience with them.
My brother is going to buy a laptop around the same time as me. He'll probably use a mouse all the time though. :P

What's a wireless mouse like? I prefer the idea of wired mouse over wireless though.

Wireless mice are very responsive, assuming they're working at all (which they generally are). So, the pointer may move faster than you're used to, at least at first.
They have a laser system rather than ball-and-roller; however, I've seen some wired mice with this feature as well.

You should get a quad core processor and 6 gigs of RAM. Easy for me to say. It's not my money. I wouldn't be concerned about hard drive. I would buy an external for storage and just keep my current games, music and video on the hard drive.
